2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
iPhone music streaming

Hi all,

What options are there to connect an iphone to a 2007 RRS? We gave been using the aux but as it's behind the central console it makes it a pain in the arse! If it's left plugged in it gets trampled or trapped when not is use, or you have to stop and pull over to plug in!

Is there a kit to replace the Nokia kit? Or a kit to replace the 6-disc changer connection?

Cheers,
Leigh 07 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey, 20" alloys |08 XF SV8 on order.

I use this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/August-MR220B-Blue...h+receiver

its a Bluetooth receiver, leave it plugged into the aux and power in the mid console for unlimited bluetooth connectivity.

It recieves the bluetooth signal from your phone wirelessly and plays it through the aux port.

Crystal clear music Thumbs Up

Has to be worth a punt at that price! Does your phone still work with the handsfree on the car? 07 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey, 20" alloys |08 XF SV8 on order.

As the phone can only be connected to one BT device at a time then your phone calls would be directed through this unit and not the cars BT, not an ideal situation as I would imagine the quality of the phone call would be no where near as good.

Ah yes, multi-Bluetooth isn't gonna happen. Cd changer or aux seems the best option then, but can't find a cd changer lead! 07 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey, 20" alloys |08 XF SV8 on order.

Yeah I ordered one of these, paired it, plugged it into the car and went for a drive.

Worked perfectly Smile Until I parked up and left the car until the next day. Then my phone wouldn't connect to it, even if I then switched it off and back on.... So disappointed I ordered another one from a different supplier whilst I sent the first back. Same thing Sad

Do you folks all switch the August unit off when you leave the car or are you able to just leave it plugged into the car and switched on and connect?

So you have to take it out of the cubbie hole which it fits perfectly, switch it off and back on and put it back?

Thats dissapointing
