I would hazard a guess based on what you have said around the 36k mark

Sounds about right, if its LR warranty then it should be fine.

Think its the normal suspension comprssor, roll bar and suspension bushes, hand brake sticking.

bear in mind for not too much more you can go to a later 2012 with a few changes between the models

not sure if the 2011 your looking at is a 3.0 TD or SD variant but having had both I prefer the SDV6.

Nav software, bootlid, SDV6, 8 speed, pop up gearstick and black front/rear lights are all nice touches on the 2012 model.

for example a 2012 in the f/s section is up for 40750 with 17k miles.

A12DY B makes a good point , I know everyone has budget ceilings, but if you could eek out a few more £'s, the move to a MY12 car is quite significant over the MY11  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
