Apologies if this is common knowledge but when looking for security screws to prevent rear light theft, I came across these and thought might be worth sharing:

I can't think of many things on a car that are secured with a screw that you wouldn't, possibly, at some point want to remove or replace or repair. Therefore can't really see the point of these mate. Even if it's the vehicles reg it could still need to come off later to fit a private plate.. |

I suppose it must be possible to remove them. May be just not easy/quick enough for an opportunist? |

A nice drill bit gets any screw out no matter how fancy it is. |

Ady alright for number plates as you could remove with disc cutter but not for rear lights as in original post

Nah, everyman and his dog including Bc knows of security screws for number plates, hopefully not everyone will know what security screws are used for our rear lights..... |
