There was a noticeable difference when I went from 20" to 19" so ride quality should improve considerably from 22" to 19". 22s are not so kind to the suspension either. |

I've only driven RRS's with 19" and 20" wheels and I could tell the ride difference between them, so I assume 22" to 19" with be like you are floating along |

Currently running 19" winter tyres and ride is superb compared to being on 20" so can only imagine 22" ride |

Yep, I've always replaced the 'big' wheels with 19s makes it a better car, IMHO, with no noticeable difference in cornering performance.

19's for me. Far more comfortable and practical on the roads up here and better when in 'fields' in my opinion.

There's a definite theme developing.......... Thank you everyone. A follow on question - I have seen two wheel and tyre combos and I'm unsure of what is the best choice - 255/50/19 or 255/55/19? Also is the 5 x 120 stud pattern the standard for an (06) RRS (I'll give mine a measure tomorrow to be sure)? |

55 not approved tyre size for RRS so would be classed as modification - I would stick with 50 and 5 x120 standard pattern for RRS's |

That might have worked but I have just closed a deal to buy 19's. Thanks for the offer. |
