No Ady, other than one of the little red height indicators flashing from the front right, and when i try and access off road height i get a message "suspension rising slowly" thats it.

You need a new Compressor normally with this error, but others have got away with the dryer. The front air valve is under the drivers side wheel arch cover at the front just behind the fog light.

Front end leaking doesn't sound like compressor to me, but I wait to be told otherwise. |

Logic tells me that if its a leak, then the air is coming out almost as fast as its going in, hence the time its taking to raise the front end. |

I dont think its as bad as that (hopefully) last night i left it at standard height, the front had dipped a small amount this morning, but after a few second of engine running the front went up very quickly, again the back was already up, so i gather the compressor only had to pump up the front only.

Mine is slow to raise the front end if I ask it to do so soon after starting the engine. Given a few minutes of running, however, it tends to be a lot quicker. A drop and immediate re-raise will be slow again. It points to a tired compressor - I must get around to getting mine changed too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I don't supposed you noticed whether its worse on very cold weather - just wondering if the dryer has allowed moisture in system which has almost or fully frozen and is restricting airflow ? |

Good point, yes coincidentally it was 2 deg when it was slow that morning, and yesterday it was very mild, and worked fine.. |

Paul - The forecast over the next few days is for 'brass monkey' weather - even in Herts- so you might be able to be able to see if it occurs again and if there's a cold weather pattern. |
