If the dealer doesn't know and he's left it at that I think I'd be questioning what sort of customer service I'd be getting from said dealer after I'd bought it

From my experience salesmen are picked for their selling ability rather than there knowledge or interest the product they are selling, which is quite sad. |

Yeah Rigsby I do, I tried it this morning on the timer system that I set last night and worked great. That's why I am a little confused. I doesn't have a heated steering which I thought I would have if it had the cold pack. It was a Range Rover company vehicle from new. |

Doesn't work like that, ccf configuration gives you timed climate and a few bits of kit will give you remote park heat Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

As MSE says, your remote can be achieved by fitting a receiver and aerial plus a fob and you should be up and running. Total cost approx £200.

I guess the dealer will confirm the costs if it is possible to make it operate off a key fob on the 5th Feb. It would be good to have as our Winter mornings can range from -10 to +10 and different everyday. Credit card at the ready! Maybe |

My local dealer wouldn't supply the receiver and aerial so had to use Yeovil LR who were helpful and knew there stuff. Arrived in a couple of days. fitting is easy diy job with no tools needed
