I think most just mask off the surrounding areas and paint the calipers without removing. 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

Mad-dafty: So just mask off the disk, bleed nipple and hose banjo?

Any problems with the pad getting stuck to the caliper with paint likely or am I over thinking it?

A lot of the brake paints say no need to prime. Would you just give a good key with some fine sandpaper?

I've never done it myself mate, but there are plenty of step-by-step videos on youtube that walk you through it. Thumbs Up 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

I'm painting my calipers gloss black, and the hubs matt black.
(Wasn't sure if the hubs should be matt silver?)

Ooh, I have a Buck blue car and am thinking a nice blue caliper with white out lettering? ... Like the current M5.

Anyone doing this with the calipers still attached and just masking them or taking them off completely?

Nice Job Micalee Thumbs Up

Did you remove the calipers for painting or leave them attached?

They were left on. I painted the centre part of the disc as well, and used a half inch paint brush to paint the caliper

Love the look of these!

Haven't pick our RRS up yet, but already set on doing this mod!

Ours is Fuji White with the standard 20" wheels, but hoping to fit some Matt black 22" Overfinch wheels soon, will probably go for a Matt silver/chrome for the centers/hubs but not sure about the calipers, either gloss black or red, what are people's thoughts on the colours?
