Well I've just failed in my 1st attempt..

2 tonne mini trolley jack would not lift the car high enough Big Cry so will be purchasing a new 2.25 tonne 4x4 specific trolley jack and trying again!

What wrong with using your sissor jack?

Thats how i did mine on the sissor jack Shocked only because i could'nt be bothered to trail all the way over to work to get the trolley jack, they are good jacking points on the sport, once jacked up i ALWAYS rock the vehicle to see if its secure before i start work on the motor. Thumbs Up

Why don't you have a go refurbing them yourself, its only about an hour a side, just make sure you get all the grit and grime off with a good brake cleaner and sand down where necessary mask all the componants you don't want spraying, prime then paint then new sticker job done. Thumbs Up

Found this company on line..... http://www.brake-caliper-painting.com/

Not bad if you can remove your own calipers and do without them for a few days Rolling Eyes

useless to most!

Jack off the axle then you will have enough height. Made that boo boo myself.

Also tried red on mine but did not do it for me, seemed OTT, so re painted black and ordered some black wheel hub centres as well.

Like the sticker idea Thumbs Up

Big flat area of wishbone, from memory a round indent is there where you can locate lifting point of jack.

If you had a more manly trolley jack you can also jack off the central diff which raises 2 wheels at same time

According to my jacking instructions (land rover) you arn't suppose to jack up on the diff Shocked

Not something I have done but have seen done by proffessionals who work with Landrovers every day.

I'm sure Landrover have their reasons just as they have put jacking points on sides and then provided a highly unstable and dangerous sissor jack which has been know to totally fail Confused

They also advise not to fit 22 inch wheeels Whistle Smile

eBay.. Search Brembo stickers. Not sure of the size though.. If anyone knows off the top of their head, pls post here.. Otherwise it's out with the tape measure! And we all know how inaccurate that can be Wink

If you have the Brembo brakes you will need the 100mm transfers for the fronts

If you are sticking Brembo transfers onto the standard TDV6 front calipers then as Ady said.

I got these

Anyone know anywhere that will paint them for you? Properly, baking them in oven or whatever they do, then reapply decals?
