Nick I did see a bloke with a Mondeo eyeing up the idea of driving through it when he saw my RRS emerge from the deep. God I wish i stayed around to see him go in. I guess he didn't as nothing was reported on BBC Look East!! |

I'm impressed. The Sport will go through very deep water before you risk getting any in the engine intake. Even so, a long wade along a route that you can't be sure is free from debris and/or freshly formed holes might be considered "brave" (floods do damage roads, and roads aren't as flat as they seem from a car - the depth could change quite a bit without you initially noticing). The comment earlier in the thread about checking the route is good advice (which we will all fail to heed at some point no doubt).
