Managed to build my new bike at the weekend, took it for a little shakedown spin, really pleased with it
Got a trip to the lake district planned at the end of Feb, so will put it through it's paces then.

Nice bike BC,I have a SB66 Carbon,still in the shed is my lappiere zesty 714 tht needs to go to a new home. I go to wales bout 4times a year and been to the alps,Spain and Italy.looking in to doing the megavalanche this year.

Would love to do the Alps, but I need to get more proficient on the stuff here first . As said, off to the lakes in a few weeks and possibly the North Downs for a gentle warm up. I really enjoyed Wales and it makes you realise that where I live in the SE there are no hills to speak of. Some of the Welsh guys we rode with were fit as butchers dogs because of all the hill work they'd done. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

The zesty has to go I was goin to put everything on the SB and sell the frame but ended up building complete bike..
I think Italy was the best out of the three EU trips,
I've not done the North Downs but people say it's very good we are planing to go to BP wales again in April,I like it there cos u can sit in the van and get taken to the top

I did BP Wales the week before Christmas, but because we only decided to go 3 days before, there were no uplifts left, so I had to pedal my way up each time..........character building you could say

I'm hoping to get to Italy on the road bike this year as I definitely fancy a Euro trip.
I've just signed up to the Cyclotour de Leman which is a 120 mile 'sprint' around Lake Geneva in May too  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
