As yet I haven't driven either model as I've been studying the available specs and average prices, I'm open to either v6 or v8 providing it's the right car, the link above gives some really good pointers to check when viewing the cars so I feel better equipped to start viewing. |

The TDV8 comes with a lot more kit as standard fitment, and the engine is really smooooth. Diesel consumption is marginal over the V6, and you do not have to worry about Cam belt replacement either

thanks Martin, I'm now doing an equipment comparison between the two models as I had been under the impression that any hse model in either version was pretty well equipped, I now see there are plenty of other options out there, thanks again Jim |

Yeah from my reading it sounds like the TDV8 is only slightly more expensive to buy and run be a hell of a lot more car.

Thanks for all the comments guys, beginning to lean towards a tdv8 after doing some more research, looking to spend 14 -17k which seems to reasonable for a decent spec & history. |
