you are highly welcome! The TDV8 needs to be considered alongside with the TDV6.

Have you been able to test drive both options? MY2007 RRS TDV8 Black - tinted glass - side steps- stormer grille - 20" diamond cut alloys - alpaca leather - TV/DVD pack - some blingy chrome bits & bob's

As yet I haven't driven either model as I've been studying the available specs and average prices, I'm open to either v6 or v8 providing it's the right car, the link above gives some really good pointers to check when viewing the cars so I feel better equipped to start viewing. Thumbs Up

The TDV8 comes with a lot more kit as standard fitment, and the engine is really smooooth. Diesel consumption is marginal over the V6, and you do not have to worry about Cam belt replacement either Thumbs Up

Laughing thanks Martin, I'm now doing an equipment comparison between the two models as I had been under the impression that any hse model in either version was pretty well equipped, I now see there are plenty of other options out there, thanks again Jim

Yeah from my reading it sounds like the TDV8 is only slightly more expensive to buy and run be a hell of a lot more car.

I printed out and read the buyers guide yesterday. Its here on my desk as I'm going to see a 4.2SC on Saturday and even though the guide is for the diesels its looks really useful for me buying a petrol.

Kudos to whoever wrote it. It looks excellent Smile

Thanks for all the comments guys, beginning to lean towards a tdv8 after doing some more research, looking to spend 14 -17k which seems to reasonable for a decent spec & history.

Hi,

I can't seem to get the link to the Buyers Guide to work, has anyone got another way of finding it?

Thanks,

Sam
