England 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Five weeks after purchase

and it's time I joined the forum.

Hello everyone. The Mrs. and I treated ourselves to a 2010 RRS at the start of December 2013, and it's surpassing all our expectations so far. As you can guess from my username it's actually her car - seems fair, considering she paid for it - but I do get behind the wheel every so often. Bit of a change from my old Pug 607!

Although I've only just registered on the forum I've been visiting for a few months, and lots of information on here has come in handy already.... saved a ton of cash by skipping the dealer's GAP insurance in favour of using one of the site sponsors instead Thumbs Up

Rigsby, I'll ask her but I doubt she's that open-minded Laughing

Sadly we're a bit boring compared to some of those on here - no modifications, standard wheels - haven't even got the privacy glass. Having said that, it looks beautiful just as it is.

Welcome Copilot, there's nothing wrong with a standard RRS, as fellow member BKHK will tell you. Thumbs Up I'd also be intrested in seeing some pics, if you can persuade your Mrs. Wink

I don't like modded RRS, they are best as LR intended. I don't like modded women too much either, they are best as nature intended. But I do like them very clean and polished, I never let mine get dirty .....or my X6 Laughing Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Thanks for the welcome everybody, much appreciated. The modded versions are not really my cup of tea either, but having said that my early experiences of Range Rovers and Land Rovers were always on a farm somewhere, so I suppose I've just grown up thinking that's what they're for and that's how they look.

You'll all be sad to hear that the Mrs. has declined to participate... At least, that's what I presume she meant when she threw my dinner in the bin Crying or Very sad

Sounds like he needs to upgrade to a more "responsive" model Whistle Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
