England 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

I've just bought mine, on 91,000. By the looks of the invoices, in the last year it's had an alternator, front discs and pads and a caliper.
I've given it a full service, n/s/f antiroll bar link, both front antiroll bar bushes (awkward but well worth it!) and rear discs and pads.
I would have said it was now perfect - but it's developed an electric parking brake fault Big Cry

Will that not be due to you're rear pads not being set properly when changed, your pads will be thicker now so did you adjust the park brake.
Have a look for Bodsy and check out his how to Thumbs Up

Yes the shoes were adjusted correctly when the new discs were fitted. The parking brake actually operates on and off fine, it's just the dashboard that doesn't seem to think so Banging Head

I've got a 2.7HSE just done 152.000, and still going great. Owned it since last April, and had to change a rear light bulb and have an A service.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Maya Gold

Hi Guys

RRS TDV6 HSE
Jan 2005
190,000 miles as at August 2014

Had a front diff, an alternator and that's all for the big items
Numerous brake pads and about 4 sets of discs but to be expected and I'm not complaining.
But looks like a front RHS wheel hub next week

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

mines got around the 84k mark on it, bought it just over a year ago and had to replace all discs and pads and free off a rear caliper.
last service a couple of months ago pointed out lower front suspension bushes and one wheel bearing showing signs of wear so its booked in for next week to have both front lower arms replaced and both front wheel bearings. The only other thing i would like to do is a megaflush

A typical day in the life of an RRS ! 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!

Some of us have earned the right to be a bit "doom and gloom"! Big Cry

79k miles old and, in the last three years that I have owned it, the following have been replaced:
Both turbos
Starter motor (twice)
Alternator
Battery
Upper thermostat housing
Front ARB bushes
Both lower front arms
Both front hub bearings
Entire rear dynamic ARB
Rear diff

It's got a full LR service history.

Feels like it might need new track rod ends and/or drop links. Compressor is a bit tired and will probably need replacing soon. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The price you pay for off roading your vehicle i guess. Whistle To be fair, you would expect these motors to be able to cope with a bit more than a few potholes before such things start wearing out. Mr. Green

It doesn't do anything extreme, most of it is no worse than green lane-type stuff really. There are plenty of people on here who never go off road and they also have lots of issues. Land Rovers are supposed to be off road vehicles, after all, so they ought to be able to be used off road.

I could see the suspension issues being off road related (but loads of on-road-only people have ARB bushes and lower front arms replaced) but the other stuff? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

117k Had a happy 5k in 3 months ownership. LOVE the thing to death, got a nice set of 22"s set up for it now as my danger fund was not touched. So I'm a happy man, no issues at all. Blows black smoke out on sinking the boot. But thats expected. V8 goodness. Getting about 26mpg - keep it well oiled and run a fuel treatment every third fill up. Expecting to take it to 150k before I get rid of her and hopefully have enough to buy the new shape.

Worth checking the inter-cooler or turbo pipes, could be a cheap fix, even the smallest of splits/holes will cause smoke under acceleration. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
