i hope the seller didnt know, i cant stand people who can rip others off with a dodgy car, if i had any issues at sale time i would either fix or disclose them to the seller.....

maybe he seems genuine but i can never help thinking in these situations that perhaps hes tried the cheap things and has been told a couple of k to fix.

i had a few issues when i bought mine and went through it properly, luckily all the issues on mine only cost £160 to fix and i have all brand new brakes for that!

Gutted for you Paul. Is there any point talking to the seller about it ? If I was the seller I would at the very least split the bill with you .

You could probably get a fuel filter, pipes and thermostat tomorrow if you wanted to try to fix it yourself Mike

Just been reading and it seems, this problem could be caused by a few other possible components as well as the fuel filter, something as simple as a break pedal switch or a steering geometry needs recalibrating, battery low or not charging.

the display showed part of the HDC system is unavailible, then shut down too limp mode and lowered syspension.

Had a full service today, and asked for the fuel filter to be changed.
Now it pulls like a steam train all the way with no faults or limp mode issues Very Happy Very Happy
