Can someone check this wheel size please

Hi looking to get a set of 22's but they recommended a tyre size of

275/40/22
Not the usual
285/35/22

The wheel details are

SIZE 22X10
PCD 5X120
OFFSET 45
CB 72.6

Irrespective of the rim size a 275 x 40/22 gives a overall wheel/tyre diameter of 780mm, a 285 x35/22 is around 758mm. On a 275 x 40/20 rim which I think is the L/R approved size tyre a 20" rim the diameter is 728mm which is quite a difference.

I would of thought that will put the speedo reading well out, may possibly give wheel arch clearance problems as well. Not sure about the ride or handling etc. either. From a personal point of view I would not have thought the 275 x 40/22 a very wise option, but as I say that is my own personal opinion.

Thanks, thought the size of the wheel etc could have cused probs
