Kenya 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver
Sport Dynamic Control Module error

Hi, Need some advise on my DTC's being experienced since I did a major service on my Sport 06. Replaced most of the service items like Timing Belt, High Pressure Belt, Alternator, Starter, waterpump and Thermostat housing, Gearbox Oil Filter and Fresh Oil in Transmission.
The car started well and ran many kilometres before I decided to attach a Launch X431 Pro to it. Was shocked to see many errors come up, including a F in the dash display! The most persistent errors that are not clearing up are:

U0122 - lost communication with Dynamics Control Module
C1A00 - Control Module permanent error
Park Brake Fault -
HDC Fault - system not available

I dont see any errors on the System Check while starting car and also it runs well. These erros only appear when connecting a scanner. I tried also the ortiginal SDD software and it showed same errors.

What is the Dynamics Control Module and how can this error be rectified. Seems an electrcial issue ? We had removed many cabkle and sockets during the above service procedures ... not sure if this could be a casue or my DCM needs replacement?

Please assist as I spend many weeks doing major work on my car and am disappointed now on these faults not going away, even after sveeral resets.

Many thanks,

The Dynamics Control Module is the module that controls the air suspension.

U012287 - Lost
Communication
With Vehicle
Dynamics Control
Module

Note that lost comms fault codes are often found when there is no fault.

Possible causes:
CAN bus fault
ABS module disconnected
ABS module not configured
ABS module failure

C1A000 - Parking Brake Module Fault
Possible causes:
Voltage too low
Vehicle started with booster battery pack (voltage too high)
Module overheating due to 15 or more uses in short time.
Wiring fault - open circuit or short to ground

Park Brake Fault
Assume this is a message on the dash?
Clean and adjust the park brake shoes?
Check park brake functions?

HDC Fault - system not available
Again assume this is message on the dash
Frequently associated with low battery voltage
Try charging or changing battery?

Maybe some of this will point you in the right direction?
Good luck 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
