Audio Streaming is there a solution

The later RRS have bluetooth with audio media streaming BUT my 2010 has the blue tooth telephone but for audio streaming from my iPhone I have to use the iPhone connection cable.

Is there a software update that provides bluetooth audio streaming?

Or is there an aftermarket solution that perhaps plugs into the cable but bluetooths to the iPhone?

Thoughts appreciated

M

Its a problem. There are cheap Bluetooth devices that plug into the auxiliary power socket and the aux in that would allow you to connect an iPhone and play music over Bluetooth BUT I think the phone can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time so your phone integration to the car wouldn't work.
Some time ago a forum member recommended this as a more complicated solution: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/e...o-car-kit/ 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Yes - it's called an iPod Whistle

Seriously the audio streaming on mine is so temperamental and has such limited control via screen/steering buttons I have gone back to using my iPod from my 2010 RRS Rolling Eyes

Save your money and plug in an mp3 or iPod Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!
