Bob, i don't know if this will work on the RRS2 but it does on the original RRS. Try lifting the bonnet, then see if the oil level check is available. Hope this helps. |

No, I've decided to put a long straw in the filler cap instead...that should do the trick! Give or take a few litres here and there! |

On mine the ignition has to be switched on, but the engine has to be stopped. It doesn't work with engine running. Its worth a try. 2017 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Also needs to be warm but 10 minutes or something like that, after the engine first ran.

Thanks...I've done all that..engine warm...turned off ignition, waited 10 mins...but it doesn't work!

Checked the level at stone cold this morning, and it worked! Went out for a 10 minute drive, parked up and returned to vehicle 45 mins later and it came up with engine oil level not available. Car was in park mode.
