First time I sign into RRSPORT.co.uk for a while and I end up with suspension fault, have I been jinxed??...

Anyway upon further investigation, I found the compressor pumping constantly and even after turning off ignition it continued, left it for 10 minutes still pumping flipped bonnet and tapped the relay and stopped it... soo dodgy relay ? swapped with rear screen heater relay (same part number and next to it), Jumpstarted car due to now flat battery and now have the following GAP diagnostic codes even after clearing :

5131 - Air Supply
5A20 - unknown

Air suspension inactive and seemingly pointing to a new compressor (that is still operational and buzzing away from time to time) from what I can make out, question to the forum people, before I replace the compressor has anyone had any experience of the seal replacement kits from http://landyair.com/ ? they seem genuine with instructional videos etc..

unless any has any suggestions for refurb / exchange of the compressor ? If I need to buy a new one and upgrade the software then I will, but need to explore all options first... Why?.. Because i can....

I thought about this option but decided against it as I thought it was a false economy as I had the old version of pump and one day I would have to replace it any way as life expectantly is 60000 miles. I got new one and did nt need the software upgrade so that saved a few quid. Got mine at duckworths this was the cheapest. But saying all that if you have time to fiddle try it. You can also buy the plastic piston kit. Good luck.

Decided to go down the refurbish route ordered and received the new seal and air dryer overhaul kit from Landyair, sent through very quickly... stripped down and replaced seals as per the online videos, noticed a better seal with kit so all looked promising, went to reinstall and found another problem

the larger top air hose has a hole in it, seems to have been rubbing on what looks like a handbrake cable...its just after the bend where its inserted in the compressor, any ideas on repair or how much hard work to replace the pipe ??? ( and of course the parts required?)

It seems too close to 2 bends to cut and fit a joiner  Why?.. Because i can....

I had same problem with compressor constantly running.
Found air leak that had caused the compressor to basically burn out.
Purchased the piston seal kit from landy air and changed the seal.
All isl working fine now.

Where was the air leak and what did you do to repair ? Why?.. Because i can....

The air leak was on the connection where the small pipe from the compressor enters the air drying unit.
I just sprayed soapy water all around the area wherever there`s any sort of connection and looked for the bubbles.

We'll suspensions now all sorted, took it to the guys at RCV at East Peckham nr tonbridge who kindly replaced the compressor and repaired the damaged pipe work... Decided although the pump was refurbed it may only be a matter of time before it would need replacement..

Had all ecu soft wares updated too and the rrs drives better and seems more economical as a result!

Had to mark myself down on man points tho as it the first time in 22years of motoring I have ever paid a garage to fix a car for me  Why?.. Because i can....
