Just thought they were not able to open the doors in time and they needed to get the passenger(s) out quickly (maybe suspected risk of fire..).

If the occupant is complaining of serious neck or back pain then it's not worth the risk of paralysing them so they cut the roof off.

That is crazy... would love to know how they justified the cutting... looking at the damage there is no way the patient was trapped and if it was for suspected spinal then they must cut a lot of cars up... Much safer and quicker ways to get patients out of a car even with spinal injuries than cutting the roof off. |

sounds like they could not get power to the electric seats to move them to aid getting her out, she didn't want the roof cutting, but it was the only option |

it might have one of those explosive breakers in, if the car is in a accident the charge goes off to disable the electrics aswell to prevent sparks
