7 year service SC

Just spoke to the dealer for a quote on this for my SC, always worrying when he says 'ah the big one' then says about the cambelt, and i have to point out to him it has a chain !!

anyway dose anyone know the full service list for a SC on the 7 year service ?

he said
oil/filer/plug
pollen filter
primary belt
secondary belt
spark plugs
engine flush
any recalls updates etc
and a wash and hoover

from main dealer £644.59 all in

You can see the service item list in the sticky at the top of this section:

But you are just trying to tempt me into another rant about 'oil flush' aren't you? I don't want to repeat myself so just consult #snake oil, #rip-off, #robbin bast Censored s

Be interesting to insist they show you documentary evidence that Land Rover recommend oil flush before you will authorise it Rolling with laughter

I wonder how many engine failures pouring this rubbish into the sump causes every year. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Seriously?....... Anyone had that done?

and the OP won't need timing belt changed as he has a TDV8 which doesn't have a belt. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Mine is seven years old. It cost three and a bit including anti roll bar bushes and an aircon re-gas at Landranger (not with cam belts but mobile guys here do that for circa £275).

Why pay funny money to a stealership for basic work to what is now an old car? Makes no sense to me.

Oil and a few filters and two belts. Sounds like two hundred quid is more than enough. A car wash/vac is a tenner. Add £100 for down south inflation. Six anything is still twice what it needs to be.

Save the £300+ and use independents is my advice on an 06 car.

Hello
The 7year sevice should include a full set of plugs aprox £80, aux drive belt and sc drive belt. Mine cost £480 from farnel.
Ensure when getting quotes they include the above as some were not including the extras.
The aux belt and sc belt greatly quieten the car, stops the squeel on a morning.
