Suspension fault

I'm a new RRS owner and have had a suspension warning light appear earlier this week. I had it diagnostically checked and error code C1A20-64 came up. 'Pressure increases too slowly when filling reservoir'. I've been quoted £500 inc labour for a new compressor. I only bought the car two months ago from a used car dealer, who offers a 3 month warranty, but unsure if this will be covered. Any ideas please? Thanks

I replaced my compressor with the new AMK for £495 inc relay, software update and fitting at RR London about 3 months ago. I had looked around, and their price was excellent. Think the best price I could find for parts only was about £450. I would try to get your selling dealer to pay though.

Yes. Take it back and make him fix it for free. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

mine has started to come up with Air Suspension error.
I did a bit of Googling and came across this South African forum post: http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/showthread.php?t=84067

Has anybody taken their compressor off themselves? I might have a go and lube up the stuck valve RRS HSE TDV6 Autobiography

Genius fix by the Disco 3 boys for suspension failure

Hi all,

It appears I am not alone in getting the suspension failure error lights and warnings every day now, it has been discussed at length that it is caused by compressor failure. Look at this thread found on the disco site, it appears it really is no more than a crack in the housing which is a much easier fix and less financially painful than replacing a compressor.

Hope this helps out some of you guys who like me have been pulling their hair out over this fault.

Another common fault with range rover dating back to BC
If you can take it back to dealer to sort out. Also take out an extended warranty on car. As there is a few common faults that will end up costing loads ££££
