Well done. I wouldn't change a thing.

Are the 22" wheels aftermarket ? If so, what brand ?

Did you paint the calipers or are those red covers ?

Here in the UK, both the red calipers and the 22" wheels are factory options. Thumbs Up

Beautiful car mate, looks stunning....have fun driving her......you can hardly fail not to! Thumbs Up

Thank you very much. Fun is exactly what it is. The new 8 speed box, especially when you put it into Dynamic mode along with all the torque vectoring tom foolery really does make it fun

You've summed it up perfectly, I completely agree - it feels like a real step up from my old car (2011) and the weight loss is particularly noticeable under breaking.

Car looks fab BP and well worth the wait, enjoy Thumbs Up

The breaking is fantastic, especially with these big stoppers

love the wheels and esp. those Brembos !!!

Two of my favourite features. I know some of the LR purists won't agree with 22" wheels and tyres, but I think it makes them look fantastic, as well as still being capable. Besides, I have my 20" Stormers and general grabber AT's for when they're needed. If the Stormers fit over the brakes that is!

It'll be the longest wait you'll know!

Looks amazing, I've had my 06 hse since new and love it, but I can not wait until March when I pick up my new Sport.

The change from an '06 model to a ''14 will be unreal. The change from my '10 is massive!

It'll be a long week but well worth the wait!

Enjoy this fantastic car.

I would only remove the red SPORT and the Engine Information on the tailgate, because the new RRS Rear looks fantastic in "clean" metal... Wink

I always orderd my Cars with Badges, but after Looking i removed them and liked it more.
But it seems in the UK its mostly liked to keep a lot of Information on the rear, or isnt it? I noted that German Car Brands offers configuration without engine and line information, at LR this is not possible.

The Red sport badge is what distinguishes the dynamic from he normal HSE, and for me a bit of colour breaks up the black, and ties in especially well with the red brembo's, so it'll be staying!

Everything on this car is as came from the factory. As Ady555 says they are options for us here in the UK.

Big Pimp :

Quote :Any detailers on here?

I'm fairly into it. Not as much as I used to be, but still keep my finger in the pie.

Have already told my dealer not to be polishing etc my new sport, as I've already lined up its winter protection:

A hand glaze with Meguiars show glaze
A seal with Bilt Hamber Finis wax (so easy to put on and off, and offers decent durability)
Windows sealed with G-Techniq products - the best in the market bar none
Wheels sealed with Bilt Hamber too

I'll not be machining at this early stage but if anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I'll help where I can

Thanks

Ross

Just saw this on the RRS2SPORT2.COM site. I guess from the photos above you already have applied the above!! Excellent result.
Having Brembos again, means a bit more brake dust setting on the alloys....and more on the rear wheels than on the front oddly enough, which presupposes that on the dynamic set up there is extra braking on the rear wheels.

Have you come across any product which really deters brake dust? I've tried Autoglym and a few others,(edit : on previous vehicles) but is there anything which actually works??

I'd recommend applying a wheel sealant mate. Dead easy to apply, much the same as waxing your car.

A few I've tried have been:

Poorboys wheel sealant, available here
A good decent easy to apply product. Lasted a few months.

Wolfs chemical wheel sealant here

Easier to apply but does need the second coat

The one I'm going. For this time though is g-Techniq C5 wheel armour. Never used it, but if it's a patch on their glass sealant it will be amazing.
You only use small amounts but it will outlast pretty much anything on the market.

available here

@Adam and Aintree - thank you both very much gents. I was worried about too much post processing on the pics, but think I managed to get the balance just right! MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports
