CELESTIAL BLACK is the new Mariana Black & Tritone...

Just checked out the Topix spec for my new vehicle ahead of delivery (2/3/16 - see I can be patient) - and I see the colour is now CELESTIAL BLACK/MARIANA BLACK. - It looks like Celestial Black is just the "Jag" name for the same, as google images shows loads of images where that colour is the only search criteria.

I thought the grey descriptions were getting difficult enough, multiple names for every black coming soon to a dealer near you ! Whistle

Incidentally having viewed the new vehicle, have to say I am really liking the Tri Tone interior Ebony, Lunar, Pimento. Thumbs Up sorry the photo's aren't clearer but hopefully you get the idea...

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Pretty poor show by the dealership that they wouldn't unlock your car for you to take some photos of it. When my last Evoque was delivered to Grange Garage I was sent lots of photos by their team, especially of the interior as no one had seen an Evoque in Zanzibar with the full tan interior and I was abit sceptical that it would work, but it was a great combination. When my RRS was delivered to them I was also sent a heap of photos of it too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

My discontinued Aleutian silver RRS is also listed as Osmium Silver so maybe that is a Jag colour too.

I am amazed how many people come up to the car and ask about the colour. So glad we chose it. MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

To be absolutely fair , the dealer offered and I was more of the mind it's raining so I'll look through the window as I leave.
It's a replacement vehicle so the only difference is the colour scheme and it was my choice to decline their offer of opening it up for me.

I really wanted Aleutian silver - but it was discontinued when I ordered and I went for Aruba instead (quite like that too) - is Aleutian or an equivalent back now? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Not that I have seen sadly.

We went to buy a black/grey one and they had an Aleutian silver in the showroom and we were sold. Colour changes from silver to light blue depending on light.

I assumed it was going to be renamed Osmium silver but it does seem that that is the Jaguar version.

I had what I think was the equivalent on my last Jag, superb colour. Really saddened that JLR have deleted it, their colour palette is almost as boring as Mercedes these days, multiple shades of grey. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Absolutely right Wilf. But Pete on here can arrange any colour! May cost a lot though!

Thinking of an SVR next time and will have to be Estoril blue. MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

Which is the equivalent of Grey (in SVR Land) -

(albeit a stunning colour - Harwoods Pulborough had one in their showroom last weekend...)
