If you park outside set the timer for 15 minutes before you plan to leave and the car should be warm as toast when you open the door - mine is garaged so will only benefit when away from home |

I'm toying with buying the BAS remote FBH kit for my "old" RRS. A bit pricey but the thought of remotely turning on the FBH whilst I'm having breakfast and then going out to a warmed up vehicle does have its appeal. Need to make sure the battery is in good order though... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I visited BAS a few years ago and he offered to activate timed fbh with remote on the MY10 I had but because of cost, me parking in garage and it was within 3 year warranty decided not to go ahead then - now I realise what I was missing |

Remember - with the remote, you will still need to have it activated in the CCF - they only turn on timer not timer + remote |

No driveway here, or heated steering wheel. (FBH though!)(Driveway soon too!) As for gloves etc. - really? One drives in hat, coat and gloves? How very 1950s of you! ![]() 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Your mention of very 1950's. Brought back my memory of my first car 1934 Ford 8. No Heater, wind blowing up Peddle holes in floor, Floor concisted of planks of wood. Drive with window open to enable hand signals. or to bang indicator arm to make it go back into body. Now i have the heated Steering wheel Climate Control and FBH and Wnd proof cabin. Oh the joys of motoring. Half the modern day motorist would not have servived the 1950's |
