United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver
suspension set-up

Smile Hi,
I am new to this site,so hope someone can help me.
I have recently sold a high mileage 2006 disco 3,and bought a 2005 RRS with 42k on the clock and FLRSH.
I am very pleased with it,except the suspension is a lot harder,is there a different set up?They are both air.
If so can you please tell me the difference, and would it be possible to go back to the disco type suspension.
Many thanks in anticipation!!!

Sport suspension differs from D3
its harder and much better quality

so no you can not have d3 suspension again Big Cry
on the other hand it shouldn't be as bad
so i would recommend to read faults and check if its faultless
if the hard feeling is not caused by some fault in EAS Thumbs Up

Welcome Roberto. It may sound silly but have you checked the tyre pressures? My RRS was a bit harsh when I collected it but it was because some halfwit had confused psi with bar and massively overinflated the tyres.

What wheel size do you have? For comfort you need the smallest recommended diameter with the highest recommended tyre profile. Makes a big difference. These I think are 18 inches and 65 profile. Some folk on here run 22 inch wheels with skinny tyres but they must just love having their fillings replaced regularly. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Many of the new land rovers have that now, bigger profile tyres...makes for a better ride. Mike

You can go back to D3 suspension arms/bushes, but they will not last as long on an RRS. Don't really last long enough on a D3 Rolling Eyes

The RRS has a smaller profile tyre, compared to the RRS too. You can go up a size to match that of the D3 if/when you need all 4 tyres replaced Thumbs Up

If you have bought an RRS with the DR system, this will also make it seem firmer, as the ARC units try and keep the body level.

All little things that add up to a "sporty" ( Wink ) drive. That said, start with the basics of tyre pressures and so on Thumbs Up
