The plastic of that peice just looks cheap, almost too white or "snowed". I bet it would look good on a white RRS though. |

The side markers in the US only operate with the indicators... they are not constantly lit with the sidelights... |

Late on Sunday night I started the task - filed one down by hand as prev described - a few tweaks here and there and now got one fitted perfectly I will do the other tonight & use a Dremel power tool. I have also looked into different types of bulbs for this. The clear lenses I have fitted came with straight replacement amber bulbs, but I will poosibly have some LED ones to try later. So far so good, will post more details/pics ASAP.

Its amazing what the right tool for job can do ( said the tart to the vicar ) aka Sunday night fumbling around with various sanding appliances trying to recreate the steps for modding a side repeater. Yet tonight armed with 1 Dremmel mini power tool & hey presto 10 mins/job done. PERFECT.

My only comment is that it does not look like it fills the space left behind by the amber one.

Plus carriage/vat Total cost £20.88 I would agree they are fractionally smaller in length - but I thought I would have a go at the conversion ( still have the originals ). I am also waiting delivery of Crystal Clear lenses to try out - again will post details when done. I dont suppose it will be too long before someone launches a specific item for the task. But hey ho...... keeps me busy " WITH MORE EXTRAS THAN A HOLLYWOOD EPIC " |
