Mats..

Going on what might be a very muddy 4x4 day and wanted to get some rubber mats, so on looking on ebay (first port of call for everything nowadays!) i found this guy selling what look like quite decent hard wearing mats which are cheap enough not to really give two craps about.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Range-Rover-05-Sport...dZViewItem

Bargain at £14.99. Seems to be reliable seller too.
Has anyone got a set of rubber mats, as they would be the most ideal, how much were they and where did you get them from?

Thanks in advance.
Kam.

Here are some cheapo halfords alternatives for rough use:

Mr ebay is still looking like better deal though.
Saying that the RRS ones are £71 + VAT for the rubber ones from LR themselves.

The LR mats are good - very thick, robust, fit well and have metal coners like the carpet mats do. If you were keeping your RRS, I'd recommend spending the bit extra and get the proper ones. As you're not, get the cheapest - you're not going to wear them out! Matt

Bloody hell, you mean the stealer didn't give you them for free?? Shocked

I insisted on it, and free fuel, but I did buy two RRS's so I had a bit of an 'arm twister' I guess! Twisted Evil

No Deako, i got carpet mats with the RRS free, but we are going on a little off roading day soon, so the interiors and exteriors are likely to get very muddy!

Instead of ruining my original land rover carpet mats with the little bits, i would rather buy some cheapo sets and wreck them instead.

Kam - let me know what you go for as I want a rubber set too! If you can do a deal for 2 sets I could give you the cash on the day. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

VA, im thinking of just going for this set:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Range-Rover-05-Sport...dZViewItem

And just chuck em in the garage when we get bacl or in the bin if they get really caked. Rubber mats from LR seem a rip especially for me, as i don't want to sink any more money into my RRS right now, halfords ones seem expensive in front of the ebay set as well.

If you want a set of these maybe he can do us a saving on the postage, at £8 it seems a bit excessive, but still comes in cheaper then the halfords alternative.

You'll soon be out doing things like this.

They'd bought a lifted Hi Lux and were stuck out on Salisbury Plain for the night until we found them!
