hi all, reasonably new but ive noticed that when parked overnight the rear of the car drops down very low, as soon as i start it it goes to normal height and the compressor turns off, is this normal or do i have a very slight air leak?
if a leak is present is there any obvious places to look other than the bags, if there is a slight leak on a bag thats taking 12+ hrs to deflate im happy to leave for now till it gets worse, thanks

More likely to be a valve issue in one of the valve blocks. There are three valve blocks: one for each end of the vehicle and one adjacent to the compressor. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

is there anyway to check them?

There are fault codes associated with the valve blocks so you could have the codes read by an LR dealer or a good independent specialist which would probably be less expensive. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

I think you'll need a diagnostic tool of some kind.

If you park it in off road height does it still drop overnight? If not, that might suggest a height sensor issue. If the system is finding one of the sensors is showing an odd height when it does its periodic "wake and level" it might try to compensate. The result being a strange stance. Putting the suspension in to off road height will have the sensor in a different position.

This is just my little hypothesis based on observations of my RRS. Mine will sometimes sink the O/S/R if left in normal height but not if left in off road height. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
