Can you upgrade the dials on the speedo on pre-2010 RRS ?

I thought id post this as cant find anything related when I do a search. I hate the interior dials on the speedo on the pre-2010 models of the RRS Sport. Was wondering if it was at all possible to change the cards at all (ie. rev counter/speed) ?? Rolling Eyes

I'm sure it's possible as companies like Overfinch and Kahn have been doing it. Question is whether you would want to take in on yourself Confused ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring
GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it Banging Head )

Lockwood Int in Leeds do a great line in custom dials from Ferraris to Fiat 500's and including Range Rovers.
I am considering RED or YELLOW myself (£150)

I have seen some on the bay that glow 3 colours when illuminated, red, blue & yellow IIRC they look ok, but I do not know what would be involved when fitting them. MY2007 RRS TDV8 Black - tinted glass - side steps- stormer grille - 20" diamond cut alloys - alpaca leather - TV/DVD pack - some blingy chrome bits & bob's

Thanks Martin.
I'm
New to this Forum and have tried without success to post a photo oft RRS MY12 mods.
Can you maybe tell me where I'm going wrong. I press on photo and select from my album but no photo appears alongside my text.
Michael

You should just be able to change the SMDs- tiny little light diodes. I have a focus RS and recently had all my dash lights and switches changed from red to blue- makes a hell of a difference. Couldn't have done it myself- took a bloke a good 4 hours with a soldering iron having removed all of my dials and switches. Charged about £150.
