I have 240v to 12v transformers for each of the 5 downlighter in my bathroom

I'd just change the fittings for standard spotlamp holder, 240v, and get some 7w LED bulbs off ebay. In fact, I'm selling a box of 10 spotlights to suit GU10 bulbs on ebay at moment for £49 (3 sets available not advertising - just helping out a fellow member. I would just do it, cheap transformers and lamps do not last long.

In a bathroom it will depend on the ceiling height (in effect). Anything more than 2.25m above floor level (or the height of the shower head if it's more than 2.25m above floor level) is outside of the zone of control. Anything less than 2.25m above floor level and within 600mm horizontally of the bath (or a tap).
