Suspension leaning lower on one corner

Hey guys - my sport is sitting lower - drivers side rear - in access mode, what could be causing this to happen? What parts could be faulty? Any help much appreciated.

I'm sure someone will be along to correct me soon, but it could be a leaking air bag on that corner? Can you hear any leaks? Have a search, seen a few topics like this!

Cant hear any leaks - the car raises up fine with no dash lights on

More likely to be a problem with the rear EAS valve block rather than a leaking air bag. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Could it be a height sensor?

Will a diagnostic check bring up a possible fault

A diagnostic check will throw up a code, but it doesn't necessarily pinpoint the problem. I think you can sometimes tell if it's a dodgy height sensor by looking at the 4x4 info screen and seeing if the bars above any of the wheels are red. Is it constantly low or does it just go down overnight?

You need to have the car on level ground and take a measurement from the top of the wheel arch to the center of the wheel hub and see what the difference is to the other side, is it showing it lower on the 4x4 info screen, it could be a dodgy failing sensor or just recalibrating.

Hi I think your right - it goes down overnight - I just drove a few miles after raising it then putting it in access mode - it's level at the moment

Spain

Could it be a leaking air bag?
Cheapest way to check, raise car to max (off Road) and spray the air bag with lots of soapy water and look for bubbles. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Maybe a question for Flack

Do you know what the correct ride height measurements are and do you know if the face lifted 2010 on models were different.
I only ask, as it looks like the later models maybe ride a tad lower......then again it could be my eyesight. Whistle In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

There is no correct ride height each car is slightly different thats why you need to measure the two rear corners and then adjust it until its level.
You can have a few different set levels if you want to as long as you can write the settings to the RHCM, some guys on the D3 forum use this method

Can the airbag leak be fixed or is it gonna be a new airbag? How much are these?

I looked at the 4x4 info on the screen and there were two red lines above the rear wheels - does this mean height sensor fault?

You can change just the air bag or the whole leg with new bag.

No the red lines are normal as long as they are both level front and rear, if one is lower than the other then there is a problem if the car is on level ground.
