Does anyone know where i can get something like this?

The one by Startech is for the 5.0.

I only have the 4.2 SC and and try as i might, i cant find anything that is "truly" valve controlled. I don't want one of those shoddy butterfly valve modifiers...

Happy to go fully custom if you guys know someone who fancies the job!

The website could do with updating, but I think there are some videos on youtube and they have a facebook page. I know they have fitted them to an RS6, and other nice vehicles.

I believe the way this works is to delete the exhaust system entirely. With The Capristo exhaust systems the gasses are still channelled through a silencer, albeit, a louder one than stock...

Im not sure headers straight to air on a RRS would sound so great! Worth exploring though, maybe mount them just before the rear silencer so you still have the gasses going through the cats and middle box (Do i have one, haven't looked yet?!).

This of course would make it a lot quieter then no exhaust yet quite a bit louder then stock

Ah ok yes, I guess it depends how/where you mount it. On the RS6 they did, I think they incorporated it into the back box? Will try to find some more info!

Isn't that just like the pse system you can have on the 911?

That open's a valve to a link pipe past the back box's hence more noise.

I think you are right mate, Y pipe and butterfly valve with dash mounted controller. I'm happy with that, I didn't want the butterfly valve mounted in line producing back pressure when closed.

Well I'm going to do this, will post video results and if I can dyno. Not expecting anything on the dyno mind since i'll be mounting it quite far back in the system.

Aftermarket company's do a manual version IMO I don't want got be crawling under car to change it.

I really like the pse system idea as you don't always want the roar, good for sneeking home late or leaving early

The one I posted has a similar wireless key fob. If you look at the video of the rs6, I think it does just bypass the back box
