I have just purchased and my wallet is feeling a whole lot lighter - took me about 6m to find mine. Also I reckon I have had birthday pressies for the next 10 years at least. I bought from a LR dealer for pretty much the same reason as CHIN. Most of the advise here is spot on and in the main helpfull. SDV6 HSE, Indus Silver/Ebony

I'd say you wouldn't have to push the budget up too much more to get a decent one. Factor in a bit extra to get the common problems sorted though. As said, this site is great for advice on problems should they occur |

If you do end up getting one so cheap, chances are you'll be spending lots on immediate servicing and replacing wearing parts, new belts etc etc.

Hi Brian, I have just gone back to RRS ownership, from a SC to 2.7 Diesel (been chipped) and man do I love it. Don't listen to the doom mongrels or be put off by the negative comments. My car was late 2006 £15 k but a friend has just purchased a 2.7 for £13k and it is in show room condition.
