Bird poo is So amazingly BAD for paintwork it is not funny. If you get a huge one on your paint, swallow any pride and embarrassment and get it washed off ASAP.

Well RR you are welcome to come to Scotland while I'm away and shoot the crawbies that live in the Sycamore tree close to my house............ come to think of it bring a power saw and if you promise to do it quietly in the middle of the night you can chop the darned tree down as it sends its helicopter things everywhere and they sprout very quickly. You'll have to be very sneaky about it as the trees have had a preservation order slapped on them! The bloody crows sit up there and watch me wash the RRS and then I'm sure they do target practise, strange thing is they never bomb the Defender when it is parked in the same position on the drive.............. wonder what they don't like about it or like about the RRS 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Reminds me of watching squirrels plucking pine cones off a tree in France somewhere & lobbing them onto car roofs. Always thought was funny til I got a car! |

I share your enmity for the vermin of the air, but would caution that a car cover is not a good idea for use outside. Car covers are great if you use them to keep dust off a garaged car - outside however, the wind causes the cover to move - any dust or gritty stuff either on the inside of the cover or on the car itself will, with the movement of the cover, damage the finish.
