FRONT SEAT removal?!?

I need to check the wiring under the drivers seat - I think there is a wiring short to do with the GPS - can anyone tell me the proceedure? Am I likely to run into any problems with disturbing any Air Bags? Andrew Kennedy

Many thanks...that's exactly what I needed to feel confident to to the job. Some one mentioned that there might be issues with air bags? Have you any experience or thoughts?!? Andrew Kennedy

You shouldn't have any issues if you disconnect the battery earth Thumbs Up but box clever as you will need to be able to move the seat back and forth to get at bolts of I remember. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Just make sure the SRS system is rendered safe.

Remove the ignition key, disconnect battery - earth lead first.
Wait 2 minutes for the SRS power circuit to discharge (in order to avoid the risk of
accidental deployment) before commencing work. Malaysia Boleh!

If you disconnect the battery you won't...... Better? Worse thing you can do is turn on ignition while seat is out and you'll need air bag light switched off. Shocked 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
