That facility is still in beat

That's true. When I contacted GD to see when the gearbox reset would be rolled out was offered the option of being a beta tester so took them up on it.

Quoted the beta manual because it is the best description I've found of what a reset actually does.

I'm toying with asking to try the beta as well. No harm in asking I suppose. Whistle

Hi Guys

Firmware version V2.18 is already available to the general public for Range Rover Sport 2005-2009. We started sending e-mails explaining the update process to a limited number of users last week. This way, if a bug is discovered we don`t get overwhelm with support requests and questions.

Simply log in to our website and proceed with downloading the updater software. You will need to uninstall your current updater first.

Be sure to download and read the user manual first!

Cheers!

Reset my '06 gearbox with IID v2.18 Thumbs Up

Can't say I noticed any change to my very slight, occasional, low speed drive take-up clunk Neutral

Hopefully imminent gearbox fluid change will help (followed of course, by another reset due to new fluid).

I'm sure we'll get the transmission software update from the guys at GAP sometime Razz 2006 TDV6 SE, Zermatt Silver
