There was a thread on here some time back about this and I believe certain !9's were a problem - the ones you show fitted my last MY10 3.0 TDV6 and I think TDV8 if that helps

Thanks for the info... had a search and found lots of interesting posts... but still not 100% clear... i'm looking at a few of these at the moment - all the 5 V type... am i correct in thinking there are 2 slightly different versions of this particular style of wheel? (just from looking at the pictures the centre hub looks a bit different, and there are hollows around the inside of the rim on some)... and that i'd need the earlier one? would the pic below be the earlier style? and the one i'd need to ensure Brembro clearance...

The dimpled rim is the earlier model

I have the style shown in your first post fitted on my TDV8. There isn't much clearance between the Brembo caliper balancing weights and the inside of the rim but they do fit. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Absolutely different if you put them on brembo caliper (which's bigger, rotor's big as well to 360, 380 or 405), despie they have same offset and same J number (say 19x9J). I saw ppl here twisted it with J size and offset, sure J size matters, a 19x8.5J cannot match; also offset matters, a 19 wheel with ET 55 cannot match. But if I give you three different desigh wheels but same J, same ET (say 19x9J, ET53 as original), they can all clear brembo caliper? Answer is: not really!
