2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Sidesteps

Hi all. Sorry if this is "another sidestep thread" but would like to know if there's a big difference in quality between the genuine and copies. Also if someone could kindly point me in the right direction where I should purchase from would be much appreciated. Thanks Monster Unit

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

having been there recently, i went with the copies. zero difference aesthetically, big difference in price. got mine from super tweaks. the next question is if you want the pre-cut sills or cut yourself. i did the latter and found it was fine with the proper cutting tools Wink Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Thanks for the reply Luke. Yeah, could never justify paying so much more for genuine ones if they are pretty much identical.
Think I'll go for the pre cut sills as I'll prob make a mess of it lol. Monster Unit

it's a simple job to mount everything and IMHO makes a big difference to the look. super tweaks had it at my place within 24-hours, great service. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

Thanks for the info mate. I had a look on super tweaks but they don't sell the one with the pre cut sills anymore.
Anyone know if these will be okay?

Just to add that I have the "powerful uk" ones with pre cut sills. Fitting was straight forward enough (apart from breaking one of the plastic fixing studs on the sills after transferring them over) and quality looks ok albeit only been on for 3 months

When fitting whichever ones you decide upon dont forget to set the ride height to highest for better access

I'm not into side steps, however I did see a Sport a while back with Chrome/Stainless side tubes fitted, the tubes would have been 65/75 mm.

These did look the part, looked fit for purpose looked like they belonged on a 4x4. I have seen similar products on a 3 door Freelander Mk1 a few years back

I left a note under the guys wiper asking for info on were he bought them, but never heard a thing Big Cry In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
