The plot thickens - the LR build document shows despatch to my Dealer on the 10/05/13 - at least a month before I visited the dealer to enquire and obviously well before I was told the vehicle was on its way when I found one for a better price (before signing an order or paying a deposit)

Thats outrageous, seems to me that they are trying to blackmail you into accepting a car that has been delivered to you with the wrong spec.

Trading Standards may be an option but really don't need the hassle - Life is too short

if the dispatch date is correct, that would mean its been sat in a compound waiting to be sold, proves they not been truthful about ordering it before you placed your order, unless they mean "ordered" the lad in the service dept to bring from the compound |

The problem with that is 1st Gen Sport has finished production so ordering a replacement is impossible. That said we still have the correct spec vehicle here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the current MY ceased production?

Sounds like your dealer is really trying hard for you to put faith back with them. Pleased you've reached an agreement. Time to enjoy your experience with your new sport now. |
