I have obtained a copy of the build (for the vin on my finance agreement) courtesy of a very helpful forum member and it clearly states anigre and ebony/lunar stitch - not what I ordered Evil or Very Mad

I can not check the vin on the vehicle as I am not in possession Thud

LRCS have not replied to my email yet Rolling Eyes

The vehicle being "ordered" without deposit/signature, wrong vin on finance agreement and locked when viewed is making me paranoid - this is not the kind of tactics I would expect from a Lr dealer to get a sale Shocked

The dealer is swapping the interior against my wishes but has confirmed in writing if not done to the "correct standard" I can reject and have a refund or replacement Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

i'd be concerned who stipulates what the correct standard is Confused

Also, the build shows anigre and ebony/lunar stitch, but your going to end up with ebony and ivory and piano black

is the build description corrected? if not is there an impact on resale value as the car has been tinkered with

The plot thickens - the LR build document shows despatch to my Dealer on the 10/05/13 - at least a month before I visited the dealer to enquire and obviously well before I was told the vehicle was on its way when I found one for a better price (before signing an order or paying a deposit) Confused

LRCS have advised me that my goodwill contribution from last years ramp incident will be lost now if I return the vehicle - the dealer gets to keep it Shocked

Having spent 3 months last year stressed out http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic27230.html, SWMBO and I having health scares this year - I am Censored

In 2004 I bought a faultless nearly new Disco Metropolis fully loaded for £29k - the most I had ever spent in my life - since 2010 I am spending double and getting no pleasure just stress Thud

Looks like JLR will not see another penny of my hard earned cash - 2000 to 2010 were great years but I don't know what's going on now Banging Head Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Thats outrageous, seems to me that they are trying to blackmail you into accepting a car that has been delivered to you with the wrong spec.
Following Simples tale of woe, you would think that LR would be more in tune with keeping its customers content.
Do LRCC read this forum, it seems not.
Is trading Standards an option? MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone

Trading Standards may be an option but really don't need the hassle - Life is too short Banging Head

All I wanted was a fresh start and a smile on my face when I drive after the Censored 12 months we've had Sad

Maybe a korean 4wd with 7 years warranty and some luxury holidays with the money I save is the solution Laughing

First world problems I know but is it really too much to ask Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

if the dispatch date is correct, that would mean its been sat in a compound waiting to be sold, proves they not been truthful about ordering it before you placed your order, unless they mean "ordered" the lad in the service dept to bring from the compound Rolling Eyes

Hi MW,

Have you tried Liam from Land Rover.

He really helped me when I had a problem & also helped when a colleague at work got the wrong car.

In that case they re ordered the correct one after pressure from landrover & he had the wrong one for 6 weeks whilst a new one was built.

I do not see why they should not do the same for you, irrespective of what the incorrect order is - if your order says ebony & ivory that is what you have ordered period.

Under the sale of goods act this is not a "we can correct " its a brand new car that is not supplied as ordered. - I doubt anyone in the dealership knows the difference on the colour.

Poor poor show all round by LR.

Glad mine goes on 12th July, sadly like you I've ordered another LR product but from HGG so I'm expecting great things of Jeremy & James Paul

The problem with that is 1st Gen Sport has finished production so ordering a replacement is impossible. That said we still have the correct spec vehicle here.

Your new toy is going to be awesome! I think I'm possibley even more excited about it then you Laughing

Spent the afternoon with the manager and viewed vehicle with corrected interior Confused

Decided to accept vehicle with corrected interior, some accessories/fuel as a gesture of goodwill with promise of exceptional service from this point forward to move on because I can't handle the stress Sad

RRS now looks Cool

Things need to be perfect now if I am to ever buy another JLR product again because right now I'm just not feeling the love Embarassed
