Looks as if it could be a serious bit of fun - probably very efficient and reliable to the point of not being as boring as the Q5

Great, another glorified 4wd estate car. Limited towing capability and no proper off road ability.

And what do you think the RRS Looks like Audi have noticed a gap in the market that most 4X4 owners don't ever go off road, if it didn't have 4wd then it wouldn't be able to handle all that power and torque, as far as towing is concerned 2.4 tonne is not a bad towing capacity and will cover quite a few vans and horse boxes, then again, how many people tow with their RRS Audi obviously listen to their feedback and their customers requests, its a shame L/R don't. Just my opinion though. Yes L/R are the market leaders when it comes to 4x4's, but they are also the most unreliable. |

Problem is (ignoring being an Audi) it's not going to cut anything like 4x4 conditions so may as well get a car? Mike

Or you could buy the audi, also get a defender for propper off roading and not just for playing in puddles and still have change for the cost of a new RRS. There's not many people do serious off roading in their RRS now is there. I know we are all going to be biased on here but for an everyday motor the audi is not a bad option. I know its probably not aimed at the RRS, probably more the Evoque. I'd be intrested to drive one and see how good or how bad they really are. |

This is a Range Rover Sport Forum, not an Audi Forum. The Audi SQ5 is quick but imagine having to look at it everyday and thinking that you drive a girl's car. |

I have a discovery for hardcore stuff, my defender days have reduced! i dont want a car for looks first - it has to perform, i have to know when i need it its ready to do what its bought for...fields, 4x4, snow, floods towing etc it has to be ready to do it and i have to know it can do it.
