Convince Me

Why should I buy a RRS

Prevoius owner of the RRS Sports big brother the RR 3.0 HSE sold it after 10months due to Shocking dealer back up.

So should I return to the brand maybe try another dealer could try Morrisons in Stirling or maybe the guys in Cuper.

What was it that made you chosse the RRS.???

Come on, name names Twisted Evil Sounds like the dealer you weren't too pleased with won't be too far away from me.

Cupar are now part of Rossleigh (Reg Vardy) and I've heard mixed reports about them recently. I have heard only positives about Morrisons -- which I have to admit is unusual these days -- and it makes me wonder if it's too good to be true. Tim in Scotland is your man for info on Morrisons through. Bill

the dealer in question was Macrae & Dick Inverness. The sales guy is top but the service is terrible.

Ah, OK. Was just wondering if it was one of the Edinburgh dealers you'd had problems with Wink Bill

Fi,

The 07MY RRS HSE spec has changed - you get a lot of the options as standard now (the L/R website is not upto date yet)

Take a look at at this thread - http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2119

i.e. Dynamic pack is now standard

Kaine

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Wisnae' Me - the RRS is miles better than a TD6 RR. My previous car was a faultless TD6 RR SE and the Sport is just so much better in nearly all respects except boot size! I have always had nothing but 1st class service from Morrison's but have never had any sort of discount on a new car (except the big RR!) mainly because I have been taking a new model very close to launch time. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Sorry you have lost me on that one. Question Idea

The thing I find strange is how much better the 2.7 engine reads on paper to be much more powerful torgue etc etc than it's big brother 3.0 diesel

but yet being a relatively new vehicle to the market they and not matched some older 4x4 out their with either BHP or torgue on the diesel engine.

Why is that.

In fact when we went into the dealer a good few weeks back the Sales guy (who we know) told us to spend the money on the new discovery rather than the RRS sport but the discovery is a bit fugly.

Anyway need some honest replies as I've made a fair few mistakes in the past when purchasing cars.
