Finished work a 3pm today and went along to our Local LR dealer and had a look at the RRS have obviously looked before but this time I've booked a test drive for this weekend. Not sure what I've done as it's pretty fatal for me to test drive a car I usually end up buying it.

Only thing is I don't want the wait already waiting 10months for my Jaguar XK.

If I do buy I will however def want the 2007 model so that rules out a demo. Will have to see if I can pull a few strings.

Oh and I went to macrae and dick but I can always take it to morrisons for service.

Now on to other matters

1. why are you all posting crap on my thread I realise you are all mates but can you keep it to your own threads so I only need to read stuff relevant to my topic.

2. Why have some of you gone on to the mytouareg site and posted up threads. I can't get my head round that one. It's not a very nice or clever thing to do. It's a good forum just like this one. This is something I would expect from youngsters and not grown men assuming of course you are grown men.???

Hopefully If I do decide to buy a RRS I am welcome on this site It's just I find it all a bit strange since I come from the mytouareg site.

Kaine I trust you played no part in this nonsense.??? PM me in you like.

I see no problem in asking folks why I should buy a RRS and as yet I've only had a couple of good on topic responses.

Hi Fi,

07MY build is Mid-End of Sept, so first examples will be delivered probably B/Oct. I am first on the list at my local dealer.

Wisnae'me, take a look at virtually any thread here and you will see 2 things in common................. hijacking and BOOBIES. It's all part of the generally relaxed and informal nature of the RRS.co.uk forums. You'll get used to it and possibly even join in from time to time. In the year this site has been operating just look how many posts there are, it is a very lively set of forums.
Sit back and enjoy, relax and laugh along with them.
Laughing Laughing Laughing

Oh and you will be welcome here even if you don't buy one........... plenty of members here don't own an RRS and even those that have sold them for exactly the same reasons that some of the MyTouareg members have disposed of theirs (poor dealers and unreliable cars) have stayed and told us about their new cars................... and yes I have been lurking over there too, ever since one of the members there came here and admitted that it doesn't seem to matter which brand you own, they all have poor performing dealers and the occassional unreliable car coming down the production line. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Tim in Scotland.

Banter I don't mind can give as good as I get. LOL

BOOBIES don't really do it for me I'm afraid but I can choose to ignore those threads.

However when someone has bugged me then I'm bugged and right as this moment a couple of your members fall into that bracket with their capers on the other forum.

However I won't let it take away from my interest in getting a RRS maybe I should start a lady only RRS forum.LOL.

Fiona.

:My thought for today is that it can't be that a great of a forum if some of your members feel the need to come on to the mytouareg site to stir trouble.

Not a good first impression for a new member.

Guys and girls, the reason we act so childish is probably because we are! This site survives simply because of that sort of behaviour. Why? the RRS is such a good car that there are very few things that we havn't already discussed. Trust me when I say when we need to be serious we are - most questions have been answered before, bear with us because this is a good site but things do get derailed a little whne a thread drags on a bit. Sorry for any offence caused! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
