Are you using Warranty Direct for this job? 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE in Artic Frost. 20" 2010 HST Alloys, sidesteps, Hawke tips, plus minor bits and bobs along with a remap. Four spike spiders ready for the Alps again now tucked up in their garage boxes...

I just wonder - if, - in the future, there should an engine problem would Warranty Direct have indigestion because the car's history showed that it had not been repaired by Land Rover !

Beg's the question, is it possible to fit the latest oil pump casing to pre 09 cars.

Yes you can to 07 and 08 engines. Although it tales about 7-1/2 hours, so not a cheap dealer fix.....

I am going to book my car in for a new oil pump, is there anything else that I need to change whilst the front of the car is stripped down???

It had new cam belt 12 months ago. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Do no harm to replace the belt again either. Doesn't do them any good being under tension then removed and refitted. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Prior to booking my car in for the updated oil pump, can I just re confirm that the pump I need is the one fitted to the 3 litre engine - the latest version being LR013487.

Also as the car has only covered 35k, is it worth changing the water pump? In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

there is one for pre 06A99999 1348651

then 07A00001 on it superseeds 3 times to finally end up at LR013487

LR002465-LR007131-LR007798-LR013487

low mileage, so probably not worth changing the water pump. i did, but that was 100k so seemed sensible. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
