After lending my RRS to a good friend, I seem to have a damaged rear bumper and seeing as it needs replacing was going to ditch the bodykit ad go back to a standard bumper... (also a good excuse of the led rear light upgrades !!)

The autobiography and hst rear bumpers look very similar, although cannot find two pictures next to each other, are they the same , if not what are the differences ? and I am right in assuming they will both bolt onto my 2005 model... Why?.. Because i can....

Parking sensors change from 10MY & you will also need to change the PDC wiring loom so it fits to yours apart from that I believe its a straight swap. I am fitting a normal 10MY rear bumper to my RRS on Sunday that then completes the whole rear end upgrade - I even had to purchase a different set of rear mud flaps - then the fun starts again with the front.  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Peachy, when you say that the parking sensors have changed, do you mean that if I have a standard '07 RRS HSE then my parking sensors wont fit into the autobiography rear bumpers (atm im looking around for an autobiography rear bumper and im researching how big a job it is).
I've also heard that the rear lights will have to be changed, but only 1 source has told me this and this was a retailer. I cant see how the bumper can affect the lights.

DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

I had to buy a new loom and organise the newer spec sensors for my new autobiography rear bumper the original ones were too big !

I have had an ongoing issue with the parking sensors and waitng to get it plugged in for diagnosis... front sensors keep shutting down and I have not had the time to resolve  Why?.. Because i can....

how much did you pay for your rear bumper, including the towbar hitch cover and 2 other inserts? I've found a price of £350 for one thats slight damaged and excluding the extras.

I bought mine brand new, and was part of a big order, cant remember exact prices but the bumper came with the sensor clips in (no sensors) , you also need reflectors, tow bar cover was included, but the 3 clip in silver panels were optional, came to about £650 i think ...

And then theres the exhaust tips... Why?.. Because i can....

Thanks again. Sounds about right, Peachy said the bumper itself goes for around £400 new.

already done gotta sort the exhaust tips out as the existing supercharged ones are welded on, and even if I cut them off, theres not enough left from the backbox to clamp on the AB tips  Why?.. Because i can....

I got a friend with a diag machine, we cleared out all the sensor errors and found a possible software mismatch on the canbus.. so going to take the front bumper off and replace sensors, check wiring then may have to get the software upgraded on the ecu's if that doesnt work.... do you know what sort of distances it starts beeping and then constantly tones at when you are reversing ?

every things new at the rear now ! Why?.. Because i can....
