Air Suspension Fuse Blowing

Evening, my air suspension fuse has blown twice approx two weeks apart, not showing a fault apart from electrical problem i.e blown fuse. Does anyone have an idea what may be causing the fuse to blow?

Is it constantly running (except when the fuse has blown of course) check the relay as they are known to stick when they are reaching end of their life. Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks Bodsy new relay fitted as per your previous suggestions, ran ok for nearly 2 weeks and then blew again, I have a new AMK compressor ready to go on. Can the motor on the compressor cause the fuse to blow? Thanks...

Yes, a dead/dying compressor can also cause the fuse to blow Thumbs Up

Many thanks all, just checked the fuse and it is OK, so the system must have locked out for some reason? Need to get it on a diagnostics system. It is now working normally since taking the fuse out, but for how long ?

Could be water within the compressor itself. If so then the dryers gone and needs to be replaced. To check just remove the compressor/pump and check for water inside if it's got some water in it then the dryers at fault and needs to be changed. Hopefully that should stop the fuse going.

Nice to hear that got sorted. I just had mine done last week, my suspension was taking forever to raise and then just ended up in load mode. Yellow suspension failure light came on also. Got the part from Lookers in Park Royal and had it fitted - works fine now.
