Well...... I dont like the V6TD and cant see the point in the petrol SV8 unless you want to spend your life in a petrol station!! But having driven one and listened to them My interest is long term and more off road. My 2007 tdv8 is and will always be AWESOME. Very capable car on and off road. Cannot tell you biggest and best advice is go 19" rims and Grabber AT tyres if you want capable rather than "High Street" SDV8 vogue SE. Corris grey and ivory leather + most of the toys. Limited edition RRS model number 0001 Gone TDV8 RR Sport. Never to be forgotten. Wife has an i8 BMW |

Sorry no not even gone there yet I have to be honest as I havent looked in depth yet but there are some really weird pricing policies. 2K for a towbar but only 410 quid for transfer box and dynamic pack I paid £500 as an extra option on mine for a locking rear diff !! But to be honest the on/off road pack should be standard on ALL models SDV8 vogue SE. Corris grey and ivory leather + most of the toys. Limited edition RRS model number 0001 Gone TDV8 RR Sport. Never to be forgotten. Wife has an i8 BMW |

This is the point i'm trying to get accross Baron, the new sport is some 400+ kg lighter than the current model so i'd of thought it would be quite a bit quicker with acceleration and also a lot quicker in the braking dept, my SDV6 is no slouch and the brakes are more than adequate, granted i don't tow a trailer, but doesn't your trailer have brakes. |

The new SDV6 in dynamic has 290bhp so it's not going to be a slouch. Indeed, the "basic" SDV6 will be quicker than the TDV8 in the old RRS because of the weight reduction.
