The point of adjusting them, is that they wear down during use, so it's a simple process to adjust them whilst you have the wheels off, takes just a couple of minutes to check & adjust.

they wear because sometimes youre not always at a complete stop, or because you use drive away parke realease or just when youve stopped, applied and then its on a hill, so wears it out a little at a time. It is well over 2 tonnes....... Bodsys Brake Bible
